Travertine is stone that formed around hot springs, so it carries the pits and channels the water left behind. That is why the piece you receive will not look exactly like this one.

Will mine look like the photographs?
No, and that is the reason to buy it. Travertine forms around mineral springs, so the pitting and banding differ in every block. The shape and size are consistent; the surface is not.
Does a bulb come with it?
No. It takes a standard E27 screw bulb, which you can buy anywhere. That also means you choose the brightness and the colour temperature yourself.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. This is a mains-wired pendant that connects to your ceiling rose. UK building regulations require new lighting circuits to be installed by a qualified electrician.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. The manufacturer specifies indoor use in dry rooms. Keep it away from bathrooms, shower rooms and anywhere that gets steam.
How short can the cord be made?
It arrives at 180 cm and your electrician shortens it to the drop you want during installation.
