At just ten centimetres wide and forty-seven centimetres tall, the upright cage sits flush against its back plate with an almost architectural stillness. As the close-up shot shows, every element — the domed cap, the slender vertical bars, the cylindrical bulb housing — is deliberate and proportional. Nothing is surplus.
