This pendant is hardwired — it connects directly to your ceiling wiring. If you're not confident working with mains electrics, we'd recommend having it fitted by a qualified electrician.
Can I use it with a dimmer switch?

How low will it hang, and can I adjust that?
The cord is 150 cm long and fully adjustable, so you can set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and your table. The kitchen island photos show three pendants hung at slightly different drops — it gives you real flexibility.
