Works well for
Rooms with natural finishes — linen, timber, clay plaster — where an understated ceiling light is needed without adding visual weight. Also suits spaces with lower ceilings where a pendant would feel intrusive.
Less suited to
Rooms that call for a strong focal point or dramatic overhead light, as the design is deliberately quiet. It is also not the right choice if you need a dimmable fitting.

Questions
Does this come with a bulb?
No — the bulb is not included. You will need an E27 screw-fit bulb, which gives you full freedom to choose your preferred colour temperature and brightness. A warm-white E27 LED will complement the natural stone tone beautifully.
How is it installed — do I need an electrician?
The fitting is surface-mounted, meaning it sits flush against the ceiling surface and connects directly to a ceiling rose or junction box. No recessed void is required. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician in line with UK wiring regulations.
Can I dim it?
No — this fitting is not dimmable. To vary the light level, choose a bulb with an appropriate lumen output for the space.
Which size should I choose — the wide low profile or the slim tall one?
The wider Ø12 × H10 cm profile sits more discreetly at lower ceiling heights and has a broader visual footprint. The slimmer Ø11 × H16 cm cylinder reads more like a sculptural column and suits higher ceilings or where the light will be seen from further away. Both sizes are supplier-stated and have not been independently measured by Kazamu.
Will the stone surface look exactly like the photos?
Because the shade is made from natural stone, the exact surface texture, patterning and tone will vary slightly between individual fittings. This is a characteristic of the material, not a defect — it means your light is genuinely one of a kind.
What if it arrives damaged, or I change my mind?
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email us with your order number and we will arrange the return and cover the postage. If you simply change your mind, you have 30 days; the return postage is yours and the item goes back to our address in the Netherlands.
